Scout Industrial seeks an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to join our team and lead asbestos abatement projects, ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in asbestos containment, removal, and disposal, and will effectively supervise field teams to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage asbestos abatement projects, including containment, removal, and disposal.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols, PPE, and equipment use.
- Train and mentor field team members on asbestos abatement techniques and safety protocols.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and equipment requirements to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain documentation and report on abatement activities and compliance to project management.
- Liaise with clients, inspectors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification as an Asbestos Supervisor (state-specific if required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in asbestos abatement or a related field in the last 5 years.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 30 regulations for asbestos handling.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing field teams.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in various environments and lift up to 50 lbs.
